We are elevating 200 Janitresses to become empowered, skilled professionals through specialized training support, while honouring their vital role in our schools by ensuring they have the critical tools and supplies to ensure that a child's basic needs are met with the care and hygiene they deserve.

Today! on World Water Day United Nations Water, we are reminded that access to safe water and sanitation is a basic human right, yet millions of children still go without it. Today! we launch The Janitress Cleaning Programme, to restore #dignity where it matters most - Our SCHOOLS. Launched by Baby Soft Toilet Tissue in partnership with SOS NPO, this initiative will reach 160 no-fee schools and 40 ECD centres across South Africa—empowering the women who keep our schools clean, safe, and functional every day. By providing training, tools, protective gear, and support, we are professionalising school sanitation and building a culture of cleanliness that goes beyond infrastructure. Because when schools are clean, children are healthier, more confident, and ready to learn. Am proud to announce that our school sanitation programme will be going national as we launch The Janitress Cleaning Programme. In the past, we could only tackle the sanitation challenge in South Africa one province per year, but that is all changing in 2026. #Baby_Soft has partnered with SOSNPO to reach 200 educational institutions (160 no-fee schools and 40 ECD’s).
